2nd Annual Connecting Women in biotechnology Lunch - 04 June 2010
The 2nd Annual women's lunch was a fantastic success with 350 guests filling the Sofitel Ball Room. Our surprise guest speakers were: Dr Elaine Saunders (RMIT), Ms Justine Heath (Hexima) and Dr Kerry Hegarty (Sienna Cancer Diagnostics). The lunch was kindly sponsored by CSL, City of Melbourne, Starpharma, Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick and the Victorian Government.
The Victorian Bioportal was launched on March 15th 2010 at Queens Hall, Parliament House
This briefing was very successful and thought provoking on a subject that is not often discussed. We would like to thank Research Australia and Australian Stem Cell Centre for sponsoring this event.
We would also like to thank Elane Zelcer and Hadassa Australia for making this briefing possible.
This breakfast was a huge success with over 160 people attending. We would like to thank Thomson Reuters for sponsoring this event. BioMelbourne Network announced the launch of their new website.
