The Committee is a private, not for profit network of leaders drawn from Melbourne's business, science, academic and community sectors. Representing more than 170 of the city's major corporate's, institutions and organisations at CEO or Chairman level, the Committee acts a first point of contact for international businesses and organisations to create business opportunities and links with Melbourne.
The Committee has a strong interest in connecting Melbourne globally and facilitates contact with international business, government and diplomatic representatives to foster the city's role in an increasingly global and competitive environment. Acting as a think-tank and Melbourne's premier business networking body, the Committee identifies issues and opportunities for Melbourne, and then through its collective and community wide strengths facilitates outcomes for the benefit of the city.
