The Australian Red Cross Blood Service (ARCBS) is a division of Australian Red Cross, which shares the values of the global humanitarian movement.  Recognised internationally, ARCBS employs 3,000 staff in scientific, medical and support services.

Reporting to the CEO, you will lead a group of 30 which has recently been augmented by four key team management roles, arising from a major review of Research and Development capabilities.  Your brief is to enhance knowledge leverage, business development and research by generating funding income through high value partnerships based on proprietorial IP.

Possessing a PhD and/or MD, you must be an accomplished clinical researcher with a sound grasp of public health issues.  Exceptional interpersonal skills are the key to your proven ability to commercialise IP through worldwide collaboration and linkages.
