Brief observations about success factors in the partnering process

  • “Warming up” potential partners prior to an important result coming out
  • Putting the data package into pharma language if possible – ticking their boxes
  • No nonsense, point out the weaknesses before they find them
  • Keep deals simple as possible
  • Managing your lawyers – demand plain English, and crystal clarity
  • Realistic time frames, realistically 6-18 months – already covered in the pharma presentations.
  • Effort and resources to manage and maintain the alliance – a big deal if the biotech continues to be involved in the development.

Don’t miss this chance to hear from big pharma about the latest developments in therapy areas of interest and how to prepare for a licensing a deal.
